Indeed, all Weber products are good value for money. That’s what makes them famous. Like many other models, this Weber model was completely redesigned in 2013. For example, the alignment of the burners and control knobs has been completely changed.

Previously, the burners were oriented from left to right with the control knobs on the right side. The new burners are aligned sequentially from front to back, with control knobs on the front panel.

The recently configured Power Burner saves space on the side and makes indirect cooking and 2-zone grilling more feasible. This is the default burner configuration on almost all new Spirit and Genesis grills.

In this review, we’ll take a closer look at the Weber Spirit E-210. Before we get started, let’s look at the model names and what we can expect from Weber’s naming taxonomy.

Design and Build Quality

The Spirit II E-210 is well made; the cooking box and shroud are made of cast aluminum, which is more durable than the metal plates commonly found in other grills. In addition, the shroud is enameled to help prevent fading, flaking and rusting, and is easier to clean.

The cover includes a center-mounted thermometer, although we always recommend having a good digital thermometer on hand.

The side racks and burner tubes are stainless steel and the cooking grate is enameled cast iron, which provides excellent heat retention and searing properties compared to thinner wire grill grates. In addition, the cooking grates do not need to be seasoned and are ready to use right out of the box.

The Weber Spirit II E-210 is powered by a 20-pound fuel tank (sold separately) and has a built-in fuel gauge (based on the weight of the tank to determine remaining fuel), so you always know how much propane you have.

Stainless steel side racks provide space for food plating and preparation. In addition, each rack has 3 tool hooks on the end for easy hanging of grill brushes, clamps, etc. The left side rack of the Spirit II E-210 folds up when not in use.

The 2018 Weber Spirit II E-210 weighs 100 pounds, 14 pounds lighter than the old model. The previous model had 4 casters, while the new model has 2 wheels.

Ease of Use

Gas grills have always been a favorite of those who like the convenience of grilling. With the Weber Spirit II E210 2-Burner, that convenience is taken to the next level!

For beginners, the electronic ignition system allows you to light your grill with ease. Plus, you don’t need to turn it on for each burner. Once it’s on, all you have to do is turn the dial on the next burner, and it speeds up!

To guide you through the internal temperature, the built-in thermometer is located directly above the lid. You don’t have to keep guessing at the heat inside! For more accurate results, we recommend that you probe your food.

What impressed us the most was the fuel gauge on this grill. This allows you to see how much LPG is left in the grill, so you can plan ahead for fuel usage. Plus, they’re marked with a yellow fuel tank that a 10 year old can read!

When it comes to performance, you can rest assured that Weber grills are always the same. The Spirit II E-210 offers superior performance to take your grill to the next level. The simple to use controls are easy to use and make grilling fun again. We found this grill to provide consistent heating throughout the grilling area. It can reach very high temperatures to give your meat the sear marks it needs and keep the temperature low when you want to bake.

Thanks to Infinity Ignition, you can rest assured that it will kick in on the first try, no matter how much (or how little) you use. You don’t have to fiddle and waste time lighting the grill. Once lit, the stainless steel burner takes only a short time to heat the grill. The burner tube is very efficient, providing a consistent airflow and evenly heating the entire grill area.

The Weber Spirit II E-210 features a reversible enameled cast iron cooking grate to help take your meals to the next level. The thinner side of the cooking grate is perfect for seafood or other delicate foods, while the thicker side leaves perfect grill marks on all your burgers and steaks.

All dripping juices are evaporated by the flavoring wand, adding a wonderful smoky flavor to all your meals. The remaining fat and liquid is sent to a specially designed grease management system that makes cleanup a breeze.

Our Thoughts

The Weber Spirit II E-210 is a good gas grill. Our first impression is that the grill is well designed, and almost all recent reviews of the Weber Spirit ii e-210 gas grill support this.

For starters, the unit comes with parts made of high-quality stainless steel and cast iron. On the other hand, we think you may need a hand to put these parts together. The cross-ignition system has a convenient button, and we like that the right burner lights up from the left.

What we like most about the Spirit II E-210 gas grill is that it allows for both direct and indirect cooking. According to Weber, for steaks, fish, burgers and other foods that take less than 20 minutes to cook, you should use the direct method. On the other hand, large pieces of meat should be cooked indirectly.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
